This way the rug does not don't drag back on the shoulder and it helps avoid rubbed shoulders and the need for a rub vest.

Just a quick note 😊please measure your horse, we have physically measured our rugs to ensure they are the correct size, we have found some other brands of rugs a little liberal with their measurements.
Please note: These have been specifically designed for Miniature horses and American Shetlands and so have a smaller shoulder and length drop.
They are not designed for Shetlands ponies or bigger shouldered miniatures sorry.
